Stroller Strides® is a total fitness program that moms can do with their babies. It includes power walking and intervals of strength and body toning exercises using exercise tubing, the stroller and the environment. Taught by certified and specially trained fitness instructors, it is a great workout for any level of exerciser. Stroller Strides instructors weave songs and activities into the routine designed to entertain and engage baby, while moms are led through a series of exercises specific to her role as mom.

This is something that I'm interested in doing. I had a free class on Friday, and its a WORKOUT! I'm glad a friend of mine introduce this to me. I've been looking for something that I can do during the day with my son. And at the same time, he can play with the other children. They also have a program call Luna Moms Club. It's where you and your child can interact with others and they have awesome activities. They also have mommy night outs, and etc. The Stroller Strides program has different plans and I'm debating on which to join. The instructor told me if I come and do the three times a week plan I will see my results. Which I plan on doing. But, I ran into a friend of mine that I had worked with and she told me they have a position opening that I might like. At this point, I was thinking of going back to work. My husband and I were talking about this the other night. Is it that time? I've been staying home with my son since he was 9 months.l He is now 2 1/2 years old. My neighbor behind where I live, is opening her own Home Daycare Center. If anything, I would trust them both being together. I would rather leave him with her especially when she's my neighbor! She's really good, she's had 14 + experience with daycare, and etc. My son is at that age where he needs to interact with other children and to learn more. I can only teach him so much. But, it would be better for him. Right now its' him and I everyday, ALLDAY! He wants to play a whole lot and I can do so much with him. I have other duties to do as well, such as HOUSEWIFE duties! I feel bad sometimes. Don't get me wrong I DO play with him, but not on how he wants me too.

I didn't sign up it for the Stroller Stride program. I needed to find out about the job offer. If I don't hear anything by the end of April, then I will join. That way I can have my son go to daycare for two days out of the week (Not bad, two days). Then that way the other three days he can go walk with me.

I hope you and your family have a Great Easter!

Happy Easter!

Wonderful World

All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures, great and small,
All things, wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all.

Each little flower that opens,
Each little bird that sings,
He made their glowing colors,
He made their tiny wings.

The tall tress in the greenwood,
The meadows where we play,
The rushes by the water
We gather every day.

He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell
How great is God almighty,
Who had made all things well.

This is a prayer that I love to read to my son from his "A Prayer A Day" book.
Their are 365 charming prayers to guide him through the year.

Hes' A Big Kid Now!

Yay my baby did it! I started potting training him last September of 2010. It does take time and allot of frustration. I stopped in January because I was taking care of my nephew (actually no excuses). But it got really hard and more frustrating watching my nephew and potting training at the same time. I took a month off (in the middle of February) from watching my poor little nephew to potty train my 2 year old. Everyday, morning, noon and night was a go, go, go! He wakes up in the morning or from his nap I would RUSH him to the potty. Yes, there will be times that he's done accidents and yes there was frustrations also. I thought so hard thinking what else I can do to help him and I make it easier. Well, this may sound mean but they way it helped was whenever he did an accident in his big boy underwear, I was going to put him in timeout. His timeout was (again I wasn't trying to be mean or my intentions was to scare him) putting him in his room with the door close (and yes there was light) for two minutes. Let me tell you, HE HATED IT! This only happened twice!! Never again did he have an accident. Now, he tell us that he needs to go potty, pee pee or poo poo. In public he's doing great! He wears his BIG boy underwear and he tells me when he needs to go. Although I must say, he does wear night pull-ups (just in case). I don't give him anything to drink or eat at least 30 mins-1 hr before bed. Lately, his been dry. So, hopefully soon enough he'll be wearing underwear to bed!

Yes, NO MORE DIAPERS!!!
